Alzheimer Association Medic Alert Program

The Nebraska chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is able to provide a one-year membership and accompanying jewelry device(s) to the Medic Alert + Safe Return Program. This service is for Nebraska residents diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another dementia and/or their care partners. They are able to provide this resource free of charge due to the generosity of the Valmont Foundation and the Omaha Rotary Club.

Health at Home Consultants now offering you a telemedicine option.

What is telemedicine?

Telemedicine is the use of technology in order to provide real-time healthcare to patients from a distance. With an online session, we can meet anywhere.

Meeting with us just got easier!

As an added service to provide other opportunities to meet with you, we added a telemedicine component to Health at Home Consultants already thriving practice. The program that we are using allows us to remain HIPAA compliant.

How do I set up an online appointment?

What do I need to make an online appointment?

You will need Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. You may also use Android or Apple mobile devices.

How do I pay for this service?

We will bill directly to your insurance as a normal office visit. We bill Medicaid and all third-party insurances.

COVID-19

COVID-19 is caused by a coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness.

Mental Health

Amanda Millemon is a certified Physician Assistant who graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies.  Amanda began her career in 2009. She has experience in a variety of specialties including neurosurgery, cardiology, urgent care, and psychiatry.  Amanda is certified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan.

Amanda is working with Health at Home Consultants as a Physician Assistant, diagnosing and treating patients with psychiatric needs.  Amanda and her husband live in west Omaha with their four girls and dog. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, attending movies, playing games, reading, and dining.

Amanda’s experience and education will be a great asset to Health at Home Consultants, providing mental healthcare for her patients.
